Thanks for reading. For the query, we do not calculate degrees of freedom of z-score. We have some data (for eg., in this case the time series) we calculate z-scores and degree of freedom on that data set which is under statistical scrutiny. Using z-scores and DOF calculated, we calculate p-value.
